Rev. David Keister (and Mona) - Minister - windstream.net@fpctoccoa![]()
We are a church family that gathers in love to worship, and to work, to teach and preach the Good News of God’s love for each, and for all. We believe strongly that God sent the Christ into the world not for the purpose of condemnation, but to save. As present day emissaries of Christ, we seek to be living examples of the Christ, knowing that we will surely fall short, but that “God is merciful, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love.” We trust in the forgiveness of God, and believe that God has work for each of us to do. We trust that God has work for our church community to do as well, as we seek to be a unique loving and supportive community that shares both our joys and sorrows together. We believe that God’s Good News is often difficult to hear, because it challenges us not to be conformed to this world, but to be transformed by the renewing of our minds in Christ Jesus.

The sanctuary choir provides anthems, the choral call to worship, and the benediction response for most Sunday morning worship services and helps lead in congregational singing. While our services are traditional in style, the choir sings a variety of musical genre—classical, hymn arrangements, newly composed anthems, spirituals, ethnic pieces, and contemporary Christian numbers. The choir meets for rehearsal Wednesday evenings from 7:30 to 9:00. Contact the Choir Director: shar.morden@gmail.com |

The handbell choir allows an opportunity for participation in an instrumental musical ensemble. The handbell choir participates in the two musical programs given each year and on occasion during the morning worship services. Handbells are used to enhance congregational singing or accompany a choir anthem from time to time, as well. Rehearsals are held on Wednesdays from 6:15 to 7:15 in the sanctuary.
